Question Wifi on after soft reset

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have encountered similar issues with your mogul.
Every time I soft reset, my wifi is turned on- even though the hard switch is in the off position.
Any one else?

Not a big deal, just seems a bit odd.

What ROM are you running? And do you use WiFiRouter?

Re: Wifi on after soft reset

Sounds like the switch is broken. Does the switch shut the WiFi off when running?

Re: Wifi on after soft reset

I get the same thing. switching the wifi sw off/on corrects it. I am using DCD's 3.16 (WM 6.1). Also my data connection icon shows always transferring (solid white) even when data is not transferring. I do have WMWiFiRounter installed (v.89)

Hmm... probably a long shot, but [when the switch is ON] go to Start>Settings>Connections>WiFi.
Select Only Access Points from the drop down.

Checked and was already set like that. Doesn't really bother me. and it doesn't happen on every reset.

Re: Wifi on after soft reset

it happens to me as well using dcd 3.2.5. it shows the wifi icon after a soft reset, even with the switch off. switching the switch on, then off, makes it go away and then displays the EV icon.

Re: Wifi on after soft reset

If I recall, it has happened with every DCD ROM, here. wmwifirouter installed. If you go to the Comm app, you will see that the wifi is not, actually, on. As stated above, it goes away every time by turning the hardware switch on and back off. I can't remember if I ever saw it without wmwifirouter installed, but it has something to do with, at least DCD's ROM's and, possibly, along with wifirouter. Hope this helps.
