Re: Need Help From XV6800 owners!
Yeah, you should have written that down, along with a bunch of other stuff.
If you ever need to go back to stock - make sure you go into EPST and write down the unique stuff. CE OS 5.2.1238(Build 17745.0.2.3) Rom: 2.09.605.8 8/03/07 Radio: 1.30.60 PRL: 50895 - but that could have updated/been different depending on your plan PRI: 1.35_002 - better still be that or you have other problems Cksum: c511fd44 - this changed on another phone so yours might/could need to be different Hope that covers ya - GL |

Re: Need Help From XV6800 owners!
YW - what's your radio doing or not?
It may be fixable by you... ie - you may not need Tech supp If you're slow connecting to towers/getting service look here: See the potential problems section http://ppc.stoleyour.net/xv6800/ If you're roaming - triangle in top bar - you hosed your flash and you now have a phone that's connecting to the Sprint network. You'll have to reset to stock and try again. There are tutorials here and a Wiki at XDA that will walk you through this if needed. Not having those issues - search here and XDA forums - someone probably posted a fix. Of course your radio may actually be broken - in that case you'll have to flash back to stock. Re: Need Help From XV6800 owners!
Yeah I'm getting the following error:
"Error Code: 11 PPP Connection Error." First I thought I didn't pay my phone bill... hehe! My phone is also telling me my password is incorrect, but I've tried: login: ph#@vzw3g.com, pass:vzw. Doing some more searching like you suggested it seems like the problem may be a "hung data session". So TS would have to do something on there end. I'm up for trying anything to fix it on my end though, since they're going to ship me another one tomorrow. Not because of the data connection problem, but the fact that my hardware wifi button is broken. Thanks again PapstDFrisco, that's a good link you posted also!!! James |

Re: Need Help From XV6800 owners!
James, I am familar with your problem...I did the same thing. You let the sprint customizations run and now your phone is f*cked, right? I spent HOURS (literally) on the phone trying everything. A DMU reset is supposed to get it back on Verizon, but that didn't work for me, I imagine it didn't work for you either.
Did you get the phone in the last 30 days? If so you can go into the store and get a new one, because the one they are sending you is most likely going to be a refurb. Hope that helps!

Yep, sounds like you got hosed along the way. If they are already sending one out you'll want to go back to the stock rom. Here's a tutorial:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...TitanStockHome If they haven't shipped and you can take it back to the store, you're better off. GL |
