Mogul white spot issue - HTC MFG Warranty?

My Mogul is starting to develop the white spots on screen syndrome. I've had it for about 10 months. Has anyone had any success getting HTC to cover this issue under the 1 year MFG warranty? And if so what process did you use?

I've had issues with SERO and going in to any Sprint store. They claim they can't touch anything in store for SERO. Is there any way to call HTC directly? I'm not seeing anything under the the "Contact Us" page for warranty. The page says to go through the local operator. Anyone had any luck at all?

Yes, Verizon sent me a new one because of the white spots. I would imagine Sprint would do the same.
