Could anyone give me pointers on Flashing my Sprint Mogul to work with my Metro PCS service?

well the metro pcs service would have to run the CDMA network. if it runs the other network like att's then it won't work.

but let us know what you figure out

IF metro PCS runs on CDMA, all you'd have to do is call them and give them your ESN # and they should activate it. let us know!

Metropcs will never accept an ESN of a phone they dont sell... send me a private message and i'll tell you step by step

i tried to connect it by dialing *228 and they asked me for my esn and they say it has to be only # but my esn has # and letters

The HEX (hexadecimal?) ESN will have numbers and letters. A DEC (decimal?) ESN will have just numbers. Your phone (or the phone's box) should display both.

ie:

ESN HEX: 12D34567
ESN DEC: 12345678900

um... you ARE aware Metro pcs now accepts any esn you give them right? look up Metro Flash..

Thats what they say... but in the real world is just some specific phones. they have it listed in their website ( http://www.metropcs.com/metroflash/ ) Try taking your PDA to the store and see what they say... " sorry sir, this phone is not compatible! "

My understanding is that they accept any phone EXCEPT smartphones/PPC's
