Re: internet radio

I always used a downloaded program that lets me log into my Sirius account and could listen to my Sirius on my phone. Speaking of all that, I need to reinstall that.

BTW - this is a bit off topic but this marks my 300th post. I know it's not a big deal, but just thought I would share that.

I use http://thestreamcenter.com and it plays through tcmp. You can listen to radio stations from practically anywhere.

That would make sense, but I figured it would show up at the begining of the month instead of at the end of my billing cycle

Re: internet radio

Easily Shoutcast. Thousands of free stations. No hacking, resetting, warezing, or anything necessary. I bookmark my favorites and it blows away XM/Sirius in terms of quality and selection. Kinda makes me want to start my own shoutcast station back up again but currently my home internet connection isn't so hot.

Re: internet radio

does this really reset after a soft rest so the trial period will never end?

elmerfudpucker 08-02-2008 12:21 AM

Re: internet radio

that music id is handy, it listens for a minute then tells you names and lets you find it!

Not to be a pain but thats really close to a warez program and might get you kicked off the site. There was a big thing about that cab file months ago and was taken off.

All shoutcasts including this one work perfectly on tcpmp. You can even save the .pls (playlist) files to your card to have bookmarked stations. One of my favorite things about tcpmp and slide2unlock is that the screen will shut off and the music keeps playing.

Re: internet radio

If you like radio for free you might want to visit www.surfmusik.de (dont forget to switch to English) and you can pick from a lot of radio stations worldwide. In addition you find many non-commercial broadcasters as well
