Re: Sprint PPC 6800 on Alltel
If youve talked to the Alltel rep yourself, and they siad its a go, its a go. The only barrier I can see is gettting the 6800 unlocked to work with Alltel's system, but that shouldnt be hard to get around. If Alltel cant activate your phone, youll have to use a code to unlock it, but with so many ppl doing the same, thing, Im sure its floating around here... Ill see if I can locate one for you

Re: Sprint PPC 6800 on Alltel
Just flash a nice Alltel ROM and it should work. By the way there is even a cab with the 3.37 radio that unlocks GPS. Just be leary of roaming and possible problems with data.

Re: Sprint PPC 6800 on Alltel
I wonder if anyone has had success transferring the phone between Sprint and Alltel. I would like to take my PPC6800 and use it at Sprint.

Re: Sprint PPC 6800 on Alltel
Call and activate it. The unlock code is obtained using getspc
Flash it with Alltel ROM, I think there is one more step. I am rather intoxicated and lazy though. Good luck. |

Re: Sprint PPC 6800 on Alltel
I wouldn't recommend a DCD ROM because I tried it once and it farted on my phone. But try what mikebork said first and if you have roaming charges don't complain to us!
