Moguls 12 Month Warranty

I was going throught the handbook for the mogul and i seen that they have a 12 month warranty. My keyboards backlight has stop lighting up and i have the white dot problem on the lower left handside of the screen that alot of ppl have had with their mogul. To get my phone replaced/fixed do i go to the sprint tech people or do i have to mail my phone to htc for the warranty. I do not have insurance either. Thanks in advance

the warranty is through htc, not sprint so youll have to call them up

You are not correct with HTC being the one to call. I am on my fifth Mogul and they have all been replaced by Sprint. I called there tech support and they sent them out 2 day air. You just have to send the bad phone back within 15 days.

You are both right. Sprint does have a warranty, but the one he was referring to is indeed a manufacturer's warranty. If sprint gives you issues, then go to HTC for help.

Do you have to have insurance to be able to call and have a new phone shipped?

Sprint will probably tell you to take it to a store with technicians and have them replace it, without insurance you will pay for the repair/exchange but it wont be more than $60.

By the way, get insurance if you don't have it.

Re: Moguls 12 Month Warranty

The problem with getting insurance is that if you don't add it within 30days of your phone they wont allow you too. The work around is simple, I had to do it with my Treo 700wx, just go to sprint website, and activate an old phone removing your current phone. Call Sprint and add insurance, they will see it as a new phone and add the insurance. Afterwards just go back to the website and put your phone back on.
