Lost phone calls when upgrading to new rom
 

My sprite backup failed - what can a girl do? Is there any way I can pull the old call log off the device? A program that will show deleted files, maybe? In my anger at the sprite backup failing after backing faithfully week after friggin week, I got mad and deleted the backup file too :-( Dumb, I know.

I'd also like to recover some txt messages that were deleted as well.

If the calls where on the device prior to a hard reset there is no way to recover the lost data. Sorry.

you should downlooad dashwire.com. itll save everything, call logs texts even if you forget to

Call your carrier, they log all calls. They can get you a list. You may even be able to view them online.

Or, if you have detailed billing, at least you will get a list of your calls, just not the text messages.

Do you mean your Sprite backup failed to restore onto the new rom? If that's the case, Sprite has a PC app, 'Sprite Explorer', which you can use to open your backup file. Not sure what detail you can get from call logs & txts, but it's an option to check.
