Diamond Dialer

Hey folks,

Are there any Diamond dialers out there for the 6800 that actually work and have smart dialing functionality? I have tried 4-5 and some worked but no smart dialing and others just completely bombed. I am trying the V2 Manila dialer now that is in FR and EN, but no smart dialing. I have tried to update the etphone.dll file from another dialer that says it has smart dialing but that wacks out the dialer itself.

I would appreciate some help and guidance. I also wish the 6800 had some more RAM, as there are some fantastic Diamond themes out there, but the 6800 is too sluggish loaded with one.

Steve

Thanks very much for the information. One quick question...is this a full dialer implementation? I am using the latest Titan kitchen and should I pick a dialer in the kitchen or just install this on its own?

Thanks,
Steve

I don't like to install dialers from the kitchen, if you don't like them you can't really remove them. I do most everything post install.

There is a touch version.
I figured as much so I did not select a dialer from the kitchen. When I tried to install this cab it told me it was unsuccessful. Did you have this too?

I didn't have any problems with the install, but I was using the ver. that came out before he released the Titan ver. I installed the titan version and my battery bar stopped working, so I went back to the previous. I would use the titan ver. if I were coming out of a fresh flash though. It might be what ROM you are using too, I use DCD 3.2.3

Re: Diamond Dialer

Here is the Diamond dialer that I use. I feel that this is the best looking one yet, with working smart dial.

edit: here is original XDA link by pauldgroot

Also attached is the older version without all the color that I currently use. Newer version is @that link.
