Cracked LCD.. refurb from ins. replacement??? **updated**
 

Got a refurb. from alltel for an insurance replacement for a cracked screen.... Today I was having some issues with the touch screen and ended up maybe pressing some buttons too hard and now the LCD is broke....

The screen also has the burn in white spot... What are the chances of them believing me.. Its what really happened and there are NO marks on the outside of the phone.... I have to say it must be a defective LCD...

I doubt you'll have a problem with it, especially if you can still see the white spot on the screen.

if they didnt see it after you got phone, say you got it that way. ( broke when they sent it) they got insu. damm ups lol

Haha.. It was a corporate store deal not a mail in... at it was earlier in the week...

I thought about taking it to a different store but i have a good relationship with the one i go to regularly so they may be more apt to help me out... I am going to try it and i will post my findings... If not I have an old 6700 i could use too, but its pretty beat up

was it still in box or did they go over it before you left?(hopefully not)

went over it... turned it on programmed it and all that jazz...

im out, when my screen broke(can of chew) they gave me a brand new touch for 55$. no insu. they didnt even see the broke phone. best i could do with no insu. goodluck
