Anyway to avoid the "Sprint Junk?"

I noticed that with every rom update the sprint garbage has to be installed, is there anyway to prevent this?

There ya have it . When you hard reset the device, after you calibrate the screen and do the initial setup, there is the "auto install" of software. Just soft reset right then and it will not install any Sprint bundled software

Re: Anyway to avoid the "Sprint Junk?"

when i did this, i got an error when ever i tried to make a call. "You are not authorized to complete this call". I called sprint, they had me try to reprogram my phone, had me dial ##777 i think and it wouldn't work.

Out of ideas i re-reflashed and then retried the information they gave me. It worked like a charm.

Am i doing something wrong?
