Backiing Up On The Mogul!

Hey Guys...Im about to upload the mogul update ......but I don't want to lose all my info, & I don't use outlook on my pc.honestly don't know how,but anyway I have ppcpimback added to my programs how do I use this to keep my all my contact info?

Run the program and save it to your card, and you can load the program to run from the card as well.

Simply run the program. Select the items that you want to back up. Press Next. Make sure the Backup location is on the storage card. Press Next and it will create a backup. When its done the left soft key will turn into exit. After installing the new ROM copy the PIMbackup program back to the device and then run the application. This time select restore from the drop down box and browse for the backup file that you created. Then just click through the steps. when its done soft reset. The only issue that I have had with this program is that sometime it does not restore the text messages correctly (ie not in the right folder)

Good Looks...i Tried it before & it did not work, after the update everything on my card not a cab. file was not read at all & had to start over again, but ill try that .

Did you possibly encrypt your card. If so the card is tied to the device.
