Re: Aluminum cases?

I have been using the same case for over 6 months, and it's a love-hate relationship. For normal stuff, you can keep it closed. Hard to open with one hand. I have had it fall and the phone kinda popped out. The padding on the inside is nice and soft, but there are some areas inside that could use it...and it's not there.

I did find that you can bend the case a bit to give a better hold on the phone, as well as making the lid stay tighter.

The cover gets really scratched up, but it's better than the phone!

I would give it an 8 out of 10. I had the Seidio rubberized case, and I didn't like how it separated the screen and the slide out keyboard.

My 2 cents worth, take it for what it is

Re: Aluminum cases?

Since it's not something that is very common, like a specific brand or something...I would say probably not, but you could get lucky.

Re: Aluminum cases?

i use the same case as shown on the first post and bought it on ebay as well. dropped it a few times and haven't experienced any damage to phone. the foam inside the case holds the phone pretty secure. i only use the case for work since my job can get a little physical as my avatar would suggest. would recommend. also, look into this product as well....worth every penny

Re: Aluminum cases?

I would highly reccomend the Seidio inno case over any other case out there for the phone.

Re: Aluminum cases?

I have the aluminum case also and I am not sure why they call it aluminum because it is a hard plastic but I think the is an excellent case The inside is excellent also I thought it would be an inconvience but it is not as bad as I thought. The only thing I dont like it the clip because it allows the phone to turn and then the screw that hold the clip loosens up I glued it on and that is how i fixed that problem I would recommend this case though I have dropped the phone twice and no problems Yippee

Re: Aluminum cases?

I've got this case as well, highly recommend it. The only downside is that it is aluminum, so its easy to bend. Occasionally after a few drops I have to reshape the case so it holds the phone, otherwise it will just fall out when I open the top and tilt it down a little.

The only thing I'm still trying to figure out is a way to attach it to my car. With the button on the back for the clip, it won't fit into most car mounts. I need to find one that works the same way as the belt clip, essentially. Ideas?
