"Pictures & Videos" Default Directory

I have an HTC Mogul PPC6800.

I have looked everywhere and I can't seem to find the right solution to this problem...

I save my photos on my storage card. The default "Pictures and Videos" program automatically opens to the pictures stored directly to the device. I want to change the default so that the program automatically opens to the storage card folder. Is there a way to accomplish what I want without a registry edit? If not, does anyone know the correct registry entry to edit?

I have not been able to find the proper solution anywhere else, so I hope someone can help here. The only answers I can find suggest using a different program instead of the default "Pictures and Videos".

Re: "Pictures & Videos" Default Directory

I believe Pictures and Photo can be save directly to Storage Card if you set it to Storage Card setting. So, this is just a one time setup only. Every time you want to camera or video recording, it should store everything to Storage Crad.

Re: "Pictures & Videos" Default Directory

Yes. That is the way that I have it set up already. What I'm saying is that when I open Pictures and Videos to view my pictures, it automatically opens up to the pictures on the device rather than the storage card and I have to navigate to the card every single time that I try to view my pictures. I just want to know if there is a way to avoid having to do that every time.

Re: "Pictures & Videos" Default Directory

I am positive that this would just be a registry change to change the default directory when you load "pictures and videos".

But, I'm not ballsy enough to try it. I would like for someone else to figure it out...

Re: "Pictures & Videos" Default Directory

you can just use a different picture app. I personally like to use S2V although that won't help when trying to view videos you can use tcmp for that. As a plus S2V and imageviewer from pocketcm are finger friendly allowing you to slide/change pictures by sliding your fingers and zooming and rotating them as well.

Re: "Pictures & Videos" Default Directory

Yeah. Using a different program seems to be the most popular solution.
