Word Issues

Every time i try to open a new word document on my phone, it says there is an error and the document cannot be opened. I cant uninstall the app, I can't upgrade because it is already the current version? any suggestions?

Are you running 6.1? Previous versions are not compatible with office 2007 documents. There is a patch available from microsoft if you are still running 6.0.

Sounds to me like he cant even create a new document, are you on a stock rom or something custom ?

yeah its just a stock rom, but i found a work around. I just had to transfer a document from my pc to the phone, open that one. From within that file I created a new file and everything works good now. Confused, but problem solved, thanks for the help.
