I updated to the new rom with windows 6.1. Google maps does not work very well any more. It says it needs a data connection. In fact, many programs requiring data have become very unstable. It looks like every thing is always trying to use the cell lines, where before it appears that programs would try cell or wifi.

I've got the same problem. Google maps worked great with wifi prior to the update, now it won't use wifi at all, and with the cell connection it's very slow. I've got an unlimited data plan.

google maps works fine for me but wifi doesn't and all other programs i had on 6 are uninstallable. anyone else have this issue.


what version of google maps are you using?
