Prob 2 Prevent Cell Phone Data Link for ActiveSync

This PDA/Cell Phone will first seek cell phone #777 call to initiate a ActiveSync of my Outlook files if I have the phone switched on, even when there is a perfectly good wifi connection available. Now I know that Verizon wants to bill me for data transfer as much as possible so I am forced to turn my phone off when at a wifi spot and want to ActiveSync. THis is a Royal pita. I have tried to delete the Verizon Wireless network connection, i've tried to change the call in number but at every turn on or soft boot it rebuilds this connection mode. Please help me get rid of this problem.

THanks.

I think to prevent the #777 auto dialing, I read that I think that you add #777 into your contacts, and it should stop calling #777. I personally haven't tried it.
