PPC6800 Upgrade to TITAN_3.35.04 no internet

Sorry if this has been answered already, I've been searching but can't find anything.

I upgraded my PPC6800 with RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.35.651.2_RS_TITAN_3.35.04_4 350H_SPCS_AM_Ship.exe then used PPCKitchen to cook up a delicous rom for my phone. Everything is working spectacular, props to everyone involved.

Only problem I have is that I can't get on the internet. I've tried re-entering my EPST info but still no luck. My provider is cellcom, I believe they piggy-back off us cellular. Luckily I have a friend that works there. He told me it was probably the prl and told me to dial *228, but that won't work. Unfortuneately I didn't back up my contact info when I readded his number so I can't get in touch with him, when I do I'll get more insider info, maybe even cellcom's factory rom (not that it would do much good after the radio upgrade but in case anyone needs it).

I get the feeling that I didn't clear all the custom sprint crap out. I've changed the provider entry in the registry from "Sprint PCS" to say "Cellcom" for aesthetic purposes but it always shifts back which leads me to believe there is some sprint specific crap still loading which is preventing me from configuring my phone correctly.

Any insights, help, direction would be greatly appreciated.

I settings systen connections does your phone dial Sprint #777 cell line? Iam not sure what your provider settings would be just search.

Go to start/settings/connections tab/connections. If it says sprint thats probably your problem. You can either manage the existing connection and change the username, password, and # that is dialed for data. You can also just create a new connection.

Wow I'm dumfounded. I entered the settings again today and it worked. Don't know what I did wrong the last 10 times but this time it worked.

The samething happened to me a couple of days ago when i updated the rom. All i did was remove the battery and then everything connected. I could make calls, receive calls and connect to the internet.
