Screen turns off at four minutes No25067

Ok, I've searched for this and have come up empty.

After one minute my backlight dims, which is what I wanted. After four minutes, the screen turns completely off, which I don't want!

Here are my settings...

Start - Settings - System - Backlight:
Battery power tab: Box checked, set to 1 minute.
External power tab: Box unchecked, set to 1 minute

Start - Settings - System - Power - Advanced Tab:
Both boxes unchecked, both set to 2 minutes.

So apparently even though the power settings are to never turn off the device, it turns off at 4 minutes anyway, and I have to hit the power button again to bring it back up. I'm running the No2Chem 5067 ROM.

I'm assuming there is a key in HKLM_System_CurrentControlSet_Control_Power, for the power management section that is incorrect, although I haven't changed anything in there yet. Would love to know if there is a way to change it so that my screen doesn't completely cut off at all. I really don't mind the light dimming, in fact I prefer it that way, just don't want it to turn all the way off.

Any suggestions?

Try enabling the timeout settins and maxing them out (I beleive 5 and 10 minutes) to see if it makes a difference. Sometimes you have to toggle these settings every now and then to get them just the way you like them.

Re: Screen turns off at four minutes No25067

I can set the timeouts the way I want them, but for some reason cannot turn them off.

My last build of No2Chem5067 didn't do this. I could disable the automatic timeouts, and the screen would stay on till the battery died. I have even tried turning on the timeouts at maximum delay, then turned them back off. Unfortunately no matter what I do the phone drops to standby at 4 minutes.

I've experienced the same thing. You can get a phone call or a text, and the screen will instanly power off and you are forced to press the power button again. It can be irritating for awhile so I switched over to dcd roms for awhile.
