input/output multifunction cable for HTC Titan?

I have a nifty app that allows me to use my Sprint Mogul as a practice amp(for guitar). I have been looking for a cable that has an input, output and a powersource.

I have seen the HTC multifunction audio cable (YC A200), which is exactly what i need, but I wasn't sure if it would work on the mogul.

Has anyone tried this cable on the mogul?

Or does anyone know of an equivelant?

I, also, saw the HTC 3-in-1 cable. I do not think that is what i need though. I need to have an input to plug my guitar into while listening through the output(headphones).

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Re: input/output multifunction cable for HTC Titan?

Thanks for the reply. It is definately cool to use your phone as a guitar pedal/practice amp aint it? LoL.

Being that it is only a $15 risk, i am going to try the HTC Diamond multifunction cable on my mogul. It has 2 inputs, an output(headphones) and the power. I don't see why it wouldn't work on the mogul. The mini usb, that connects to the phone, looks like the same size as the mogul. We will see.

The app(4pockets Pocket StompBox) works like a charm though! I was playing with it using the hands free cable that comes with the mogul(the headset/mic cable). There was a very slight delay when speaking into the mic, but not enough to make it useless. A direct line in(guitar cable) should probably be close to real time(letency).

At any rate, i have been having a lot of fun using my mogul as a vocal effects processor! The quality is great. I can combine 9 different effects(distortion, EQ, pitch shift, phase, chorus, delay, reverb, tremelo, etc.)with a "guitar pedal" interface. Very sweet.

If anyone is interested, i will post the result after i see if the HTC YC A200 cable works.
