Under that there was code and what looked like some form of a coding such as html....this was a pop up window and at the bottom of it asked if I wanted to dump the parent directory. Of course I said NO.....Anyone have any ideas on what this was?

Re: Pop up message - Internal Use Spy ?

A quick Google search yielded the following:

15. What is Internal Use Spy?
It is a developer tool, a mobile equivalent of Spy++. It tells developers crucial facts about a window to help them debug their applications on device. To get to it, hold the Action button down while on the Today Screen, tap and hold for a second or two on the start bar between the clock and the start logo, remove stylus from screen and then let go of action bar. The Internal Use Spy window will now appear.

Looks like a developer tool that was probably installed with software that you installed at some point...
