cant find contacts when texting, but are in contacts??

Ok, I have like over 600pp in my contacts, and certain people I text more than others. but when I go to text someone and type their name like "Leslie" nothing comes up (if I type "Les" only Lester comes up)

BUT if I click the "to" line...then I can search for ehr in the contacts and select her.

Minor, but annoying why I cant find her! Not the only one either, happens to many other also...

Any ideas??

i had this problem also with just one of my contacts..my solution was making sure the number for that person was saved as a mobile number.. it was originally saved as a work number, so my sms would not "SEE" it since you can only text to mobile numbers

I had this same problem when I installed the diamond keyboard. You aren't using that are you?

No Im not using any special text tool. good suggestion tho!

SWEET! you fixed it! When it imported into my mogul, it auto saved em I think as her "work" number. But some of these contacts have been p***** from 5 different phones, all programmed differently. Thanks for the fix! I gave u props!
