Rev.A

I just got my XV6800, and flashed it with the 3.42.30 radio. How can I tell for sure that I am getting Rev.A. I ran speedtest.net on my laptop thru my phone and with full signal I was getting 1350 kb/s. What is Rev.A suppose to be? TIA!

Re: Rev.A

Rev.A just makes the UPLOAD speed faster, I believe. So what is your upload speed? 1350 kb/s seems to be right and if you are close to tower, your speed can go up to 2mb/s.

Re: Rev.A

Uploads were around 450 to 500 kb/s.

Re: Rev.A

Yes, per your UPLOAD speed between 400-500kb/s, you have REV.A speed.

Re: Rev.A

If my upload speeds are <100...is there a way I can see if my upload speed is capped? Call Sprint?

Close, but the theoretical maximum for Rev. A is 3.1Mb/s in burst mode (up from 2.45 with Rev. 0). Strange how HSDPA is now up to a theoretical 7.2Mb/s (maybe more), but on average, no device that I've handled which is capable of those speeds has ever p***** mine up.
