Sprint PPC6800 - Power options?

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, so sorry if this isn't in the right location. I just recieved my new Sprint Mogul yesterday and just can't figure out a thing or two. My main question is whether or not there is a way to change the settings to where you don't have to press the power button to wake up the device after it goes to sleep. It drives my mad to have to press the power button when the phone goes to sleep, I would like to be able to just slide the phone open and start using it or press the talk button and start a call without having to remember to press power. If there is not setting for this I am still hyped about the phone and will get used to it, it's just a little akward right now. Thanks for all your help.

Also, are there any "must have" apps or settings I should know about with my new 6800?

The only MUST HAVE that I couldn't live with out is 'My Mobiler'. Its like a remote dekstop connection to your PPC from your desktop via USB or WIFI. I use it all the time because you can copy and paste text to and from your phone, blow up the screen to a nice clear size for easy reading, and you can use your PC's mouse and keyboard to navigate and type in your phone. I LOVE sending SMS messages with my computer's keyboard. I respond with an entire paragraph with proper grammar and punctuation in mere seconds. They think I'm a texting god.

s2u2 version 1.03 & 1.05 has a unlock-on-rotate feature that unlocks the phone when you change from portrait/landscape viseversa (or open the keyboard for those of us with one...) very nice feature.

other than that you just have to change to power options to not turn off the device.
