The void sticker is a warning. Your warranty from HTC is void if you remove the screw that it is covering, like the stickers on the back/bottom of DVD players and other household electronic devices.

I read in another forum (XDA, I think) a few months ago that Titans have more than one water sensor strip. One is in the battery compartment, which you already found. The other is in the internal area of the Titan, near the main board. You know, under that pesky void sticker.

Sounds to me like you are out of a Titan and are not getting it replaced for free. You could try, but remember that if they swap you for a new one at the store, they will most certainly send yours to a repair center. You could then get a bill for the cost of the replacement, if they track the device and realize that it was yours.

Indeed... indeed. Anyone have anymore hard evidence about a second water sensor strip?

Just tried to peel that void sticker... that thing isn't coming off.

Any verizon insiders know if they track things, as mentioned above?

Do what tech said and say you lost it. Go to a sprint store put insurance on it you'll have to wait a month to make a claim but you only pay 75 for a new phone or try checking ebay. I dont think anything else will work

Place your phone in a container with uncooked rice, in a cool dry place. Wait a couple days. Remove the battery ASAP before you do anything at all. Then give it a shot. The rice will absorb most of the moisture if you are lucky.
