USB Cable to AUX port
Do they make a cable that will plug into our USB port and on the other end is a connection for say a microphone port. I'm wanting to see if I can plug my phone into my AUX port on my radio inside my car and see if it will go through the speakers to say play music or get a phone call.

Re: USB Cable to AUX port
You can also buy a 'headphone' to 'headset' adapter to plug into the 'y' connector that came with the mogul. I bought mine online. I use it for external speakers by the pool while streaming NPR. (yeah, I'm a nerd)
It cost me about 6 clams, but I don't remember where from. I think Seidòbut not sure. |

I've purchased this adapter at ebay:

Re: USB Cable to AUX port
simply took my headphones that came with my phone, stripped off the earbuds exposing the connecting wires. purchased a 3.0mm aux male plug from radioshack (my pioneer deck takes this smaller size rather than the standard 3.5mm) and wired the two together. presto, plugged it in and set radio to aux-in and she works. i guess you can get fancy and shrinkwrap the exposed wires like i did. i think this venture cost me a whole $0.85 :]

I think you are looking for something like this http://www.semsons.com/2miusband3st.html
It says it is not compatible but there is someone on xda who figured out how to get it to work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376623 |
