Help PLZ! Need to backup emails entirely

To start off with, I wasn't sure if this would be a Mogul question or a applications question, so please feel free to move it. sorry in advance.

To keep things short, my (soon to be ex) wife who sends/receives 7000 texts in three weeks and over 9000 last month breaks the hinge on her Mogul, so I take it to the Sprint store. I have TEP, they ordered her a new one, which comes tomorrow. I had to go to work immediately, so I took the phone with me. At work I say a provocative text come on her phone from a man. I look inside, and from what I could tell, she is doing some heavy flirting with this guy and him back. On to my problem, to preserve the evidence.

She uses CodyBB threaded sms, so I can't use PIMBackup. I used SMSImport, but that only backed up the last dozen or so of each thread. I tried to press "View Older Messages..." but it hung on there for 3 1/2 hours loading (must have been the thousands of texts).

She sends her picture messages through her gmail account. I am able to view 500 of them from the beginning of May until now. I don't know her password. When using PIMBackup, I tried creating her email account using a dummy password, was able to import the messages, but not what they said or the pictures themselves, just the filenames. When I view the "Sent Items", and click the files, it says "The attachment cannot be found. Download this attachment now?" I can't download, the password in on her phone, not mine. I already tried copying her SD card, no luck.

As you can tell, I've tried, but cannot figure it out. Please help, I need this evidence so she can't take me to the cleaners. Help me, O wise Guru's of PPCGEEKS, you're my only hope!

P.S.: blue4shizzle , you has better watch you back! (jk)

Re: Help PLZ! Need to backup emails entirely

you know, i'm really sorry to hear this.. but it sounds like you are on your way out of it, so thats a good thing.
i don't have an answer on how to exactly get these emails.. but what you can do in the meantime, while you figure out a way, is just do a complete backup of the device (use SPB Backup or whatever else you like to use).. this way you'll have the image, and you can give her back the phone in short order so she won't be any wiser..
this then gives you breathing room to find a solution - and just do a restore to your device, to try it out at your convenience..

Re: Help PLZ! Need to backup emails entirely

Sorry to hear about what you are going through. Here is what I have for a solution.

If you have access to the computer that she accesses her GMail on, I can help you get her password. This will get you everything from her GMail. Download and install RealSpy on the computer. It is pretty simple to install, is completely hidden, and will run as a service (Win XP or Vista). It will allow you to capture keystrokes, screenshots, web history, etc. You can even have it email you all of the information in logs on a regular basis, as well.

You can download the trial here: http://www.loadtrend.com/realspy/download.htm

Though it will only run for 20 minutes before it disables itself, so you will probably need to pay the $39.95 for the full version to make it work for your needs.

This is the same software I used to catch my teen daughter talking about sex with her boyfriend online with her friends. I also found out that my teen son had a few outings on porn sites. It works very well, is 100% hidden, and runs very smoothly.

Once you install this and get her password for Gmail, then you can get all the pictures that you are looking for. I know this solution is on the PC side, and not the PPC side, but it is all I have at the moment. I tried using MyMobiler and a freeware app called XPass to see the password for one of the accounts on my phone, but I could not get it working. It seems that it is something to do with MyMobiler as I have used the app a few dozen times before, without issue.

If you think you want to try, I have attached it. (It is a good app to have and runs as an executable without installation, so it is awesome for use with USB memory sticks.)

Either way, good luck...

So I guess either JoeBob figured out another solution or is in jail for laying the smack down on someone...

Re: Help PLZ! Need to backup emails entirely

Sorry for taking so long to get back, but I've obviously been busy. I'd like to thank everyone for the help. I was unfortunately wasn't able to see her texts as there were thousands and even clicking "view older messages" and letting them generate overnight, they never did (I guess there were too many.) I was able to back up her info and view all of what was on her phone using Nickles SPB Backup idea (thx).

So from just the picture messages I can tell she did a lot of flirting (and a few I love you's ^\/^ grrrr) but I can't tell anything else. Because she had never physically cheated on me, and because she claims she's put up with a lot of **** from me (because my not putting away the laundry is the same as flirting and telling a dude you love him), she got me to at least think about it before I boot her to the door.

While I "thought" about it, I put WM6.1 on her phone so the threaded SMS would be easier to back up. I also installed sMMS so I could view her picture messages. I've just finished reading the last of her picture messages and I have JUST enough to kick her out, but I'd like a slam dunk (so she gets NOTHING out of the divorce.) The problem now is she's wised up and started deleting his texts. So now I need a program that will back up her texts on a regular basis and either to her MicroSD card or to the internets if possible.

I'm going do search the forums a little more for a solution after work, and if I find anything good I'll post what I find in here. I Guess if someone else has a cheating spouse and/or girlfriend this thread may help someone else. Thanks in advance for the help.

Here's a real quick question: was it already established that there is NO way to get a copy of your texts from Sprint, or was there a way. Also, I couldn't find anything of use, so any help is appreciated.

Re: Help PLZ! Need to backup emails entirely

Is she tech savvy? There are programs that do automated backups of stuff to the internet but I'm not sure if this is good enough (if she deletes them immediately) and she might see it running...

FYI if you need to view the texts on your computer visual studio 2008 has a built in windows mobile emulator and you can install various apps you might need to view them (and mess with exporting them to a more readable format).

she isn't the most tech savvy at all. i'll just tell her it helps improve her phone connection or something. I'm pretty sure she deletes them when I get home.

I'm sure there's a way to do it but mostly will have to be requested by a lawyer, judge or law enforcement.
