Phone ringer turning itself off when set to vibrate...

Hi, I did a search and couldn't find an answer, and I also mentioned it in the 5067 thread, but didn't get a solution there either. Basically when I have my phone set to vibrate, after a while I'll check it and it will have set the ringer to off. Someone else who had a similar problem said he traced it to being a bluetooth problem, mainly with plantronics brands. Unfortunately I just bought a jawbone and it still does it. Has this been brought up before and is there a solution? Thanks!

Do you mean when you have your phone set to ring and vibrate at the same time? Is it possible you're setting it to silent (vibrate mode only)? What ROM are you using?

I set it to vibrate then go about my day and eventually when i check my phone again, it will be set to off, and usually have missed some calls. And I'm using no2chem's 5067 kitchen. I mentioned this problem in the 5067 thread and got a few responses from people who have experienced similar issues, but that thread gets a lot of posts pretty quick so mine ended up getting buried :P.

You are definately not alone. I have the same problems and I know that it's related to bluetooth somehow. I am using the "official" Sprint ROM 3.56. I have tried various radios from before 3.35 to the latest 3.42.30 and have not had any luck. I have also tried hard resets to see that would work. I guess until someone finds out what the problem actually is I won't really use my bluetooth.

BTW...I am using the Jawbone 2 also.
