Re: Opera Mobile versions

for a mogul user your best bet would be opera mini, lighter, faster, easier, I have a Touch and Opera mobile in my opinion is way better than skyfire and ill tell you why... skyfire has the full flash feature which is the main reason on why the hype is so big, but its real buggy, the videos sometimes are choppy, no upload, download, no tabbed browsing

opera is the real deal when it comes to real web browsing, and i know that opera is aware of skyfire and i think that they are holding out on the latest flash for the final build

when they release that... skyfire will be crushed in all aspects

Re: Opera Mobile versions

I searched for this but no joy. When OM is active, am I totally unable to use other programs without exiting OM? I try hitting the start button or other button configurations but nada.

Re: Opera Mobile versions

I primarily use Opera mobile 9.5 build 1126. Build 1184 doesn't seem to have any advantages and the scroll isn't as fluid to me. I also have build 405 installed as some sites work better on it. I also have Opera Mini but the lack of font smoothing makes it less enjoyable to view. Also have Netfront v.35 installed and use it occasionally. Haven't tried skyfire yet.

Opera Mobile 9.5 does challenge the Mogul's limited RAM, but turning off the plug-ins and javascript helps on sites that don't require them. With the Touch Pro around the corner I'm resisting the temptation to also own a Touch. Even though I use Touchpal alot I still prefer the hardware keyboard.

have you tried build 1409 from the diamond? I haven't had any issues at all with it.

Re: Opera Mobile versions

I've always preferred Mini over Mobile due to the zoom limitations, but I've started to pick up an interest in this new build of 9.5. Especially since I've updated to 6.1, as I think the little Mogul can handle it now.

Quick question: Anybody noticed an issue with Mini after the 6.1 upgrade? Since then, I've not been able to see any text while unzoomed on pages with Mini. Zooming in reveals the text, but it just looks strange to see a well-rendered page without any apparent test.
