Phone tries to dial randomly

For some reason out of no where my phone will try and dial and connect the internet. I have tried adding a user name and password but it never saves and still tries to dial. Any suggestions?

its probably trying to make sure the time is synced up, or you have something like weather panel, or are checking your e-mail every x minutes. if you disable all those things form happening, you shouldn't have that problem, but its really not that big of an issue unless you don't pay for data.

I don't have a data plan, so yeah it is an issue.
