Stock Dialer

Ok, I have searched and searched, and can not find the stock sprint dialer. Can someone point me to it, I can seem to find anyway to restore to it.

I changed my dialer to one, that looks like its included in no2chem's rom. There is no uninstall, and I really hate it.

FYI, I am using the new leaked 3.49 ROM.

P.S. - Dont tell me I dont want the small buttons, or the ability to skin. These are no concern to me, I just would like to be able to get the stock dialer back. Thanks

Re: Stock Dialer

Thanks Lightbiter,

But that didnt do it, Phone Skin was set to disabled.

The dialer I put on here, looks like the stock dialer, but at the top, instead of the standard dialer box, it has white scroll box, with either Calls and Contacts, All Calls, or Speed Dial, set from the menu --> view option on the dialer.

From screen shots I have seem, it seems to be the same dialer as in No2Chem's rom. I just want to find a way back to the 100% stock dialer. Even if it means extracting it from the rom file.

Try making some changes in the registry.

HKLM--Security--Phone--Skin

And change the Enabled=1 to 0 and then soft reset.

You should be able to get your stock dialer if you uninstall the one you have already.

Re: Stock Dialer

Thats the problem,

The one I installed, is not in the remove programs, so I have no way to uninstall it.

The Skin Registry key is set to 0

It seems that the cab I ran, replaced the actual dialer file, instead of applying a skin, etc.
