Angry My battery life is out of control...I can't take it...PLEASE HELP!

Ok so I went out Friday and last night and both nights I had my phone charged and by the end of the night when I'm trying to get girls number or use my phone....ITS DEAD!

I know they have the bigger battery but I just read in one of the other forums that it only adds 10% on the battery which is really nothing! the only thing it does it make it heavier look uglier and cost me $50.

I dont know what it is...AND I have my screen brightness on less then half, i dont use bluetooth, and I make sure that my data connection is never on all the time....

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS!

Do you have your WiFi turned on? That seems to suck the life out pretty fast.

Re: My battery life is out of control...I can't take it...PLEASE HELP!

that all depends. some came with 1100mah and others came with 1650mah batteries.
If I were going to get one it would be the cheep 2400mah or the expensive 3?00mah.

couple of tips, I use the vistahidebattery so I can always keep an eye on the level. if it's <=50% charge it if only for a few minutes, it will help alot.

if you don't use exchange for email, disable active sync. I use quickmenu that autocloses it.
also there is a setting that tells active sync to start everytime the "time" is updated, so you can disable the network time sync, or there is another way to do this too, search.

Re: My battery life is out of control...I can't take it...PLEASE HELP!

ok well heres what kind of battery i have...

1590mAh...???? its sprint branded...idk but i know my original battery didnt look like that

im not to sure if i know what you are talking about with the active sync and the quickmenu but i use a program that i can end the processes from the today screen and i also use the standard HTC toolbar to change screen brightness and also to view my battery.

thanks for the help but idk what im gonna do...i guess the only option is buying a better battery....can you tell me where to get one and that hideous door to go with it?

Re: My battery life is out of control...I can't take it...PLEASE HELP!

Quickmenu and cLaunch is what I replaced the htc home crap with.. (sorry, many people use and love it) but I found it to be a common source of headaches.)

the active sync/time sync tweak I use is detailed here. many apps let u do this, I use dotFred task manager.
