Sprint IOTA necessary?

I've recently been having weird issues with my data network, where it would dial to the EVDO network but would not be able to download any data. My ROM is currently running without any of the Sprint customisation cabs (i.e. music store, player, etc). I'm curious if not installing the Sprint IOTA that comes with the customisation is somehow causing the issues by not being able to properly provision data for me. I have however been able to run for 2 months after first memory wipe without Sprint customisation without any problems on the EVDO network.

I'm also curious if there is anything else in the customisation cabs that I should install anywhere and may cause problems in the future if I don't include them.

I am not sure. I am in a REV-A area and it works fine for me. I did NOT install IOTA.

You only need IOTA to reprovision when things aren't working properly.

I never install the Sprint customizations and have Data working without issue. If you want the IOTA cab for the Titan, let me know and I can post it for you.

see when i first activated my phone the sprint rep did a soft reset of my phone before he programed it. My data did not work until i hard-reset and install all the customizations.. maybe its only needed for the first time?
