I need mogul 6800 help, please.

I have the Htc Mogul Titan 2 or whatnot with sprint. I signed up today and am very excited that you guys have all this ridiculous knowledge of pc's and ppc's. I browsed around and read some threads about different kitchens and the smms stuff. Is a kitchen the phones setup and style of the today screen and stuff like that? I figured out that I have the 3.35 version radio or what have you but how do I know if my phone is unlocked. I traded my treo for it. I really wanna get rollin and start customizing. If anyone has any tips for me. How to unlock my phone or check if it is. If anybody is sitting there bored at there computer and has the extra time to help someone out, it would be greatly appreciated.

I believe your mogul comes with an updated rom as posted on htc.com, however it's the most current updated by Sprint but if you want to enjoy all of the cooked roms in here, you should unlock your mogul by using this Hard-SPL-2.40 olipro and you can search for the file in here or here is the link http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9093
then flash any rom you want. I like No2chem rom and DCD rom with wm 6.1

Alot of that stuff won't even work with WM6, as it's for "smartphone" (non touch screen), and our Moguls are Pocket PCs (touch screen)

Anyways, you'll probably want to edit the reference to The Bay, because we don't talk about warez here.

Thanks for the help so quickly. I am gonna try to unlock it. Also I was looking at different interfaces or kitchens, im not sure what they are called, and I do want to upgrade. There is some good stuff on here. Is the iphone interface for the mogul crap? If anybody has a cool interface/kitchen they are fond of, let me know. And thanks again for such a quick response drurc and journey.

Personally, I tend to stay away from anything iPhone. If I wanted an pos iPhone, I would have bought one. (to each his own) I have been using vetvito ROM's and have not had any trouble. A couple of popular programs are HTC Home and S2U2.

Thanks, I am having trouble unlocking my phone. I went to the link drurc dropped off and couldnt download the hard-spl-mfg.exe. it just sits. Does anybody know of any other unlockers.

ImCokeman and olipros is the way to go. it's located in the titan upgrades forum.
