MS Voice Command Broken?

I've been trying to get Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 (latest) running correctly on my WM6.0 6800 (Latest Alltel ROM from HTC.com) but it doesn't appear to function at all. I can see it listed in Settings "Voice Command," and the options look fine, but when I hit the button on my bluetooth headset, it just beeps -- nothing happens. I'm using the MOTOPURE H12.

Any ideas on what's going on? This is my first time with MSVC. If this doesn't place nice, are there any auto-recognize voice dialers (ala BlackBerry Pearl) that don't require you to "learn" your voice before you use it?

Thanks!

There is Dutty's Voice Commander that works similar to MSVC. For me MSVC is flaky and sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

Re: MS Voice Command Broken?

For some reason since installing MSVC, my bluetooth has become very noisy and static-filled to the point I can't even dial voicemail, let alone attempt to use Voice Command.

Wow, what a pile this software is. And the feature list looked really sexy. O_o
