Voice Speed Dial - voice recognition is terrible!
 

Does anyone have problems with the stock Voice Speed Dial not recognizing their voice tags? I seem to get about a 30% success rate with it recognizing my tags when I say them - and this is with them recorded and said in a quiet room. My previous XV6700 was much better at recognizing them.

I am running the latest stock ROM from Sprint. Some reg tweaks and programs installed (I can elaborate if needed) but it seemed to be doing this right out of the box.

I don't have a problem with recording or playing the voice tags, but do have a problem in that it is a memory HOG decreasing the available RAM each time the dialer is used. I have to soft reset 2-3 times daily, when using the Voice Speed Dialer. I am looking for something else to replace it with, but have not yet found anything.

I also have problems with voice recognition. I've had my Mogul since last August and voice recognition has always been terrible! I had a Samsung before and voice recognition worked great. I liked that voice recognition confirmed who I was calling before the number was dialed. When I voice call on my Mogul, sometimes it states the wrong name and automatically dials the number. Then I have to frantically try to stop the call. I hate it! I've noticed too when I make several voice calls in a row, it gets confused who to call and starts going down the contact list. I am seriously wanting to switch to the new Samsung Instinct when it comes out in June. I am not liking my Mogul as much anymore.
