HELP....Volume not working on my Mogul

Well I installed a couple of programs today, and it seemed like everything was working fine, then all of a sudden I realize I have no volume on my Media player, youtube player, etc. The phone rings, I can talk to people, but there is no sound. Even when I go to try to change my ring tone, and preview it, it's not playing, yet when someone calls it does. Someone please tell me it's an easy fix. I already did a soft reset, and it's still not working
