MAIL/TXT/CALL Repeat Notifications?

I bought PhoneAlarm thinking it would solve my problem with needing repeat notifications for unchecked e-mail, unread text messages and missed calls, but it appears to be a real drain on my 6800, sometimes causing it to lock up when an alert comes through.

I've read around about a registry hack that will enable the "Repeat" option for text, calls, etc. in sound preferences on Windows Mobile 6 but I haven't heard about any success with it -- just that it keeps repeating the sound over and over until you soft reset.

Has anyone found the solution to repeat notifications? I'm not sure I can run PhoneAlarm much longer because if I tap "Alert" before "Notification" it most likely will lock my phone up for a minute or two, or require a soft reset.

I just need basic repeats, not all the fluff and options of PA. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

I have not had any of those symptoms with phone_alarm lite. I havent tried the full version of PA, though.

Once you use the automatic profile switching features of PA you will never go with out it.

I had problems with PA, so I use SPB Phone Suite to provide my repeat alerts.

Looks like SPB Phone Suite runs pretty smooth! Goodbye to PhoneAlarm.

Thanks a lot!

If you don't need the phone profile features of PA, try alarmPal by the same developer. Primarily just the repeating alarm module from PA. It's what I use for that function.
