ppcpimbackup + wm6.1 threaded sms

So I have like 6000+ text messages, restoring while threaded is active obviously does not work, it takes forever and then spends another huge chunk of time sorting, I turned off threading and then restored and reenabled threading and it took over an hour to get from 2/7/08 (my first message) to 2/15/08 in the sorting process.... Also, it did not look like it was sorting in sent messages (just received ones) so I imagine it would put them after as it did before when I restored with threaded active.

Is there an easier way to do this? I really don't want to lose all of my texts....

it does sort the messages when i do this.....just restore it with threaded off tunr it back on then start threaded again and let it build (it puts recieved in first then it does sent) if it is important to have ur texts backed up idt there is an easier way to do it. Just go make a sandwhich while ur doing it something like that

I suppose I will have to let it run overnight... it only went through just over a week's worth of my inbox in over an hour and a half (and I have about 4 months worth)

Here is the regedit to turn threaded on/off ->

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM\
New DWORD = "SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"
DWORD Value = "1"

whatever u do dont let it go into standby( screen off) cause it will stop threading the texts. i learned that one the hard way when it was doing all 11000 of mine over night. i woke up the next morning, turned on the screen and it was at like 300 something.lol
