Skype with new roms?
 

I was wondering if anybody has gotten Skype to work with the new roms (not sure if it's a drivers problem or what). I have tried both the new Sprint Test Rom and No2Chem's 5066, but Skype won't even start with them. I was wondering if anybody has found a way to make this work, or if I'm stuck with 5060 until things change. (This is the case with both the old version of Skype Mobile 2.2.0.20 and with their newest 2.2.0.37). Thanks for any help!

I'm using the latest official Sprint ROM and Skype is working flawlessly. I'm running Skype 2.1.0.65. The ONLY thing I want to get working is my bluetooth earpiece for Skype, gaaah!!

Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific. I meant the newest test rom 3.49 with radio 3.39. I believe some drivers have changes as has the radio and I have not been able to get Skype to work with it. Skype worked fine previously and still does work with No2Chem 5060 and with the newest official rom posted by sprint/htc. I'd like to upgrade to the new radio and No2Chem 5066, but I need Skype to work.

wILLk0r3 818 - I've used Skype regularly with a couple of different bluetooth headsets without any problems. I'm not sure if it's the version you're using that is giving you problems, but you may want to upgrade to 2.2.0.20

I don't think anyone with WM 6.1 has Skype working

Skype works fine with 6.1, which I've been using for a while, just not with the newest roms apparently...
