Re: Horrible battery drain

Could be bad battery, but I discovered Bluetooth drains me, even with the headset off.

Re: Horrible battery drain

I was on a 6700 for about a year. Roughly once each week or 2, the battery would last about 2 hours. One day, then the rest were normal.
Now I have a 6800, just added no2chem's kitchen. I found out with this, that my GPS eats battery like candy. Besides having the battery the guy from ebay used for a year. I just got an extended, NEW battery because of the drain, and an article I just read about L-ion battery life. They suggest capacity reduces to about 60% after a year.
Basically, if you aren't using a program, shut it off, it runs your phone.

I'm running no2chem's 5066 and s2u2 right now and thats it. Any idea's on why and can anybody please help.
I have the same issue with the battery on no2chem 5060. it is the worst in battery (i have a brand new mogul with the new battery) i had it for 2 weeks with sprint 3.35 stock rom
and the battery life is awesome on the sprint 3.35 rom...

Then i flashed to no2chem 5060..and i would not get more than half a day of battery life on a good day...it drains the battery like crazy, specially if you make a phone call. and BTW, the same thing happened with my apache 6700 when i wm6.1 installed even with a new battery.

So, i have been sticking with the 3.35 kitchen ROM and the battery is very good. I suggest you do the same if battery life is a main concern with you as it is for me. Lets just wait for the real release of wm6.1 and then we will be a ok. Hope that helps. That is my personal experience with wm6.1 unfortunately.

Re: Horrible battery drain

I know what you're talking about the battery life on the mogul. I would have to recharge my phone mid-day with regular use. You can always lower the backlite alittle. As far as your charging light staying on, try a soft reset.

Re: Horrible battery drain

I'm having the same problem. Had great battery life since I've had the phone but now, out of the blue with no major changes whatsoever, the signal meter will go from 50% to 2% in a matter of minutes....me thinks the battery itself might be croaking.....
