How to tell text messages are read?
 

I have an XV6800 on Verizon...flashed so that the Arcsoft MMS Composer is version 5.0.31.11. In the MMS Options, "Allow Read Report" is checked. However, I don't see a report, or an icon, that lets me know that a text message I sent was read. Does anyone know how to tell or how to fix this?

Weird...I set the NeedReadReports and NeedReadReportsFac registry settings to 1, and I DO get Delivery Reports back that show when the message is read, for MMS messages I send out...but it doesn't do that for SMS messages. Anyone?

I hate to play "bump artist"...I still can't find out anything. I realized that even when I get a Delivery Report for MMS messages, it doesn't really show or tell me when they are READ. Really, I would just like to know if there's a way to tell on this XV6800 when an SMS message you send gets read by the recipient. Anyone else wondering?

Yeah, I'm wondering. I had delivery confirmation on my E815 and I've always wondered how to get it on the XV6800. Keep in mind though it only works with verizon customers
