Compiling Opinions: Best TCPMP Settings

So there are many scattered threads out there about settings for TCPMP on our video-deprived 6800's. This is my attempt to get it all in one thread so that it may actually help people out there instead of wasting hours on end searching.

What TCPMP settings have you found to work best on your 6800 (XV6800, Mogul, Titan, etc...), that provide the most fluid video, best lip sync, and overall performance?

I'm also very interested in hearing what everyone else is doing with their settings. In terms of video, I've left it pretty much stock as I haven't had many complaints (I can't expect HD video from this thing, as sweet as it would be...). Audio, however, is a very different story. I have to say, this is one of the few areas that makes me miss my Q. That thing had a hell of a pair of speakers. The 6800's speaker (note: singular... !) is almost abysmal in comparison.

I've done what I can with the equalizer, but I feel there is only so much potential there. Enabling volume normalization helps a bit, but without the bass, the best part of nearly every Nine Inch Nails, Garbage or Depeche Mode song I have on it is ruined! Why even bother with liking music that's heavy on post-production now?

I have found these couple of little settings have helped my quality out a great deal.

in the 'settings' page click 'Select Page -> Buffering'
Normal buffer size: 1148KB
Preload at underrun: 5%
Preload for audio: 64KB

and

'Select Page -> Advanced' and set 'Manual A/V offset +/-' to '-400'.
This really helps out a lot in getting rid of the lag..

I use the same settings on mine, I originally got them from the YouTube Pocket page http://ytpocket.com/

Mine were 2400, and 70%, rest was same.

I'll try these fo a bit and see!

I've been using these settings, it seems to be much better. The audio is still not perfectly in sync w/ the video, but I havent fooled around with the offset much. It's currently set to -400
