Then why would you even be looking at the jawbone? You could pick up any half way decent BT headset in the ~$40-60 range.

But to answer the question, yes it will get extremely loud, especially if you turn it up, and it fits comfortably in my ear without the loop.

Of course I take everything into consideration, but noise cancellation is a big part of my decision, it's worthless to me if I have to repeat things 3-5 times because the person on the other end is going "huh, what was that?".

my point is that when i tried the jawbone, i couldn't get it as loud as i wanted. I drive truck and background noise is a big factor. so for me, volume on -my- end is the main concern. i have nothing against the jawbone, but if it doesn't sound good enough, i have no use for it.

Re: Bluetooth Headset woes...

Understandable... I owned the Jawbone for a few weeks before I got the Jawbone 2, and to me it gets quite a bit louder than the first gen when turned up.

Someone else also confirmed the same thing that had the 1st gen Jawbone, your mileage may vary though.

I don't find the jawbone 2 that loud, and it has a tendency to distort in the earpiece. I have tried it on the iphone, still cannot get it to pair with my 6800 mogul.
