HTC Home Weather Panel

For some reason, I cannot update the database. It says "unable to retrieve data for the selected city. Select here to retry."

I have tried selecting a different city, performing a soft reset, selecting the default database in the customizer with no luck. I'm thinking about reinstalling HTC Home but wanna know if anyone else is having the same problem? Maybe their database is down?

Re: HTC Home Weather Panel

Sometimes the server goes down for a bit. I've also noticed that if my memory level gets too low the weather sometimes won't update. Try a soft reset and see if that fixes the problem.

Re: HTC Home Weather Panel

You may also have to pick a zip code that's attached to a city a little bigger (if you live in smaller town).

I found that my zip code wouldn't download consistently, but the city next to mine came up with no issues.

Re: HTC Home Weather Panel

I'm running the HTC 6 tab from the latest kitchen as well and my weather is still working fine. After reading this I just tried a few obscure zip codes and they all worked as well.

Weird...

Re: HTC Home Weather Panel

The first thing I do to my phone is disable HTC Home, and replace it with Today clock, and either Spb Weather or WeatherPanel. I like the look of the clock, but I find everything limited...

Re: HTC Home Weather Panel

Im running into problems with the custom database on the HHC too.
I know my town is a smaller town, but when i go to accuweather it shows up just fine.
It seems as if just the custom databases wont load. the defaults load just fine. Im going to add a city from the default into the custom database and see if it will show up.

Any ideas to why it wont load? I figured it just wasnt connecting to the server, but its been doing it for a week with no success, unless i switch to the default DB, then it fires right up
