Just an Interesting Tip
 

Well I don't know if this has been posted before, but I'm a long-time 6700 user, and used the kitchens out for that to cook some roms. Now I have a 6800, and have yet to see PIMBackup included in any ROMS or anything. I copied the CAB over to my SDCard from the OEM, and you can run it from the SD card so you don't have to reinstall it or run it as an OEM. The CAB will run by itself from the SD card and backup to the SD card, so you always have a backup/restore option. Kinda nice. Dunno if that helps anyone...

It's actually not a cab but a .exe file.
you just place it on your device and run it.. it's doesn't need to be 'installed'.. it a self contained executable.. (which also explains why it can operate directly from the storage card as mentioned in post 1)
