China

Does anyone know if an HTC MOGULE with sprint as a carrier can work in China?

I keep getting different information from Sprint personel.

Thanks

Re: China

Dont quote me, but i remember reading somewhere a while back that china is about 60+% GSM network, so yes, theoretically, it will be compatible in some areas.

China has a CDMA network, however, I dont think it will work. CDMA phones arent as easy to program as sim cards.

Thanks
CDMA is starting to take hold a bit in China, but China is still predominately GSM, so in almost all areas of the country, no - your Mogul won't work.

I recall that Sprint did have some type of agreement with China Unicom (the #2 carrier in China) to help them with CDMA, but I believe Unicom's CDMA phones use R-UIM's (like a GSM SIM card), so the answer is probably still no.
