Tethering Issues

I am using the stock 3.35 sprint rom, have phone as modem on my account, and have been using the service with my laptop for a while. Over the last few days, I have been unable to tether. Every time I connect with Internet Sharing, it gets hung up on "Check USB Connection." I've tried a different computer, soft resetting, hard resetting, reset partnership in activesync, toggled the advanced network functionality setting, but still cannot get connected. Tonight, I downloaded pdanet and I can connect with that but only with speeds of ~100kbps. Any ideas on a fix?

Re: Tethering Issues

possibly a bad cable? Mine works fine, but my 6700 used to get freaky like that and it turned out to be a balky USB cable.

Re: Tethering Issues

Thanks guys...I have tried different cables as well but still get the same results. As far as wmwifirouter goes, I don't like the massive battery drain and would prefer to simply use the internet sharing program as I have been able to do for months. Any other ideas?
