Too Many Apps??????

Alright do I have too many of apps that do exactly the samething? Or is the problem that I have all my apps installed on my device and not my memory card? I have an 8GB card, so space is not an issue. Only program running is Active Sync.

Storage:
Total: 150.97mb
In Use: 139.93mb
Free: 11.04mb

Program:
Total: 46.98mb
In Use: 40.14mb
Free: 6.84mb

Programs Installed:
HTC HTC Home
WMWifiRouter
Macromedia Flash Player
On Demand
SPB Diary, Phone Suite, Insight, Pocket plus 4, Backup & 70set Icons
Resco Explorer with all the plugins
Resco Photo Viewer
Push Effect
SKB Data Manager
GPS Viewer
Mapnopolis
Pocket CM
RC Mod
HTC Cube
Wisbar Desktop
Wisbar Advance 2
Tech. Blu-ray Player
Flashvideo Bundle
TCPMP Player
Live Search
Video Enhancer
Flashlite 2.1
NueMMS
Net 3.5
Codyppc Threaded Text
Inbox Extender
HTC Audio Booster
HTC Audio Manager
A2DP Bluetooth Hack
HTC tray app
HTC home customizer
Google maps
AudioPara
Soti Pocket Controller
SK Tools
Yahoo Go 2

What do you guys think? too many apps slowing down my device? do I have apps that do the samething?

Does it really improve the device speed by installing apps on the memory card?

Re: Too Many Apps??????

installing apps in phone memory should not affect your device's speed b/c it is not the same as the rom's memory. i have like 30+ apps installed in phone memory and have no speed issues. hope that helped

Cool Re: Too Many Apps??????

Review this thread for more information.

Installing apps in the 256 program store vs Memory card will not change your available program memory. If a program needs to run at startup it will do so, irrespective of where you install it. So in a way the number of apps installed is important, but only if they rely on a process or startup program that loads in the limited 64meg memory to run the OS and apps.

Hope that helps.

Re: Too Many Apps??????

Thanks guys. It did.

Does anyone else get a error when they try to use their camera saying "not enough avail. memory" ? I thought maybe it wa because the programs were installed on the phone.
