Or you could clone the esn, add insurance, and use the phone as usual. If you ever have any problems with the phone make sure to say you lost it so that you don't have to bring it in and they will give you a new phone. I have added insurance to my account after a phone wasn't new so I know you can do it, but I think they said something about waiting 90 days until I could make any claims. I saw a program somewhere for cloning, you can probably find it if you do a search. If you need a esn number to clone I think you could use any phone from the network, so if you have an old brick or flip phone ur good otherwise get one of eBay for 99 cents. I hope it helps, next time make sure to call your network to see if it's clear.
